Tax Counselors play a central role in these services. You can expect to sit with a taxpayer and prepare a return. Free, comprehensive training will teach you all you need to help our clients. All we ask is that you bring a willingness to learn.
Comfort with technology is important. Access to high-speed internet may be needed for training, but we can help accommodate that if not possible. You will learn the needed software in your training.

Our volunteering is seasonal. Training begins in October. Tax Season starts February 1 and lasts until April 15th.
